Nurturing Creativity: My Childhood Passion for Painting

My younger self painting in front of my childhood home in Lake Tahoe. I give full credit to my mother who nourished my enthusiasm for art, always encouraging me to pursue my creative endeavors.

Painting has been a cherished obsession of mine since childhood. I found solace and joy in the act of drawing and painting, which has stayed with me throughout my life. It's a natural extension of myself, a way to express my innermost thoughts and emotions through the interplay of color, shape, and brushstrokes on canvas. Capturing the world as I perceive it brings me immense satisfaction, but the true joy comes when others connect with my paintings, feeling the love and the vibrant energy I infuse into each piece, particularly those inspired by the beautiful Hawaiian islands.

Here I am, standing proudly in my kindergarten classroom, poised in front of a painting I created depicting my Dad skiing in Heavenly Valley. This cherished moment captures the early roots of my artistic journey. I owe much of my inspiration during those formative years to my kindergarten teacher, Ms. Young, whose encouragement and support helped fuel my eagerness to explore art.

🌸 I can’t wait to embark on new artistic endeavors. Thank you all for supporting me as I continue to pursue my lifelong devotion to my art.
