I believe we are each put on this earth to use our skills to enhance things that are important to us, help one another and our planet. As an artist, I have a gift of communicating and making people feel good through my whimsical world of images. This is my contribution to help when there is a need for change, and encourage support.
The wildfires in Australia have touched my heart deeply. The loss of native landscape, homes, the loss of the Koalas and other wildlife. I wanted to take action and create something special. Something that will tell their story and that will allow others to participate in helping the Koalas as well. If each of us take action when something touches us, the world would be a much better place. We can all make that change a reality.

The process…. I start with a sketch of my design on the foam surfboard after it’s been shaped.
Close up look into these cute Koalas. Inspired by aboriginal art stemming from Australia. The use of dots in ancient times were incorporated in artwork to obscure certain information and associations that lay underneath the dotting. I hope you like it!
